Sylk Tech didn't grow out of an agency or a research lab. It grew out of Sam Sarkar's day-to-day reality — running businesses in defence procurement, UAV systems, international trade and hi-tech component supply across the UK, Africa and Southeast Asia. The problems came first; the AI came as the answer.
When the maths on a complex export quote got fragile, he built a pricing engine. When tenders slipped through the cracks, he built an agent to watch for them. When research across markets and models took too long, he built a multi-model desk to run it in parallel. Every tool started as something he needed himself.
That order matters. Every system we sell was battle-tested in our own live operations before it reached a client — under real deadlines, real margins and real consequences. Nothing here is a demo dressed up as a product.
It's a simple principle, and it's the whole company: we use what we build. If it isn't good enough to run our own businesses on, we don't sell it to run yours.
